Hi, I'm Samia
A designer, illustrator, and creative thinker rooted in Chandigarh, India, my upbringing is steeped in artistic curiosity and storytelling.
Growing up in a family deeply involved in publishing and creative work, including one of India’s oldest literary magazines and an artist residency founded by my great-grandfather. I learned early that art and design are not just aesthetics, but ways of understanding the world and how we live inside it.
For over _______ years, I’ve had the privilege of showing work internationally and working across disciplines. Today, I’m also Creative Director of the Preet Nagar Residency, a writers’ and researchers’ retreat in rural Punjab that blends creative practice with community and purpose.
I’m passionate about how thoughtful creative practice can open new ways of seeing, thinking, and being, whether through a poster, an editorial design, or a deeply considered project.
